The Brief:
To manufacture 10 self contained generator and UPS sets for Bejing Telecom
Summary:
8 black 30 foot modules were designed and manufactured on time and shipped to China in October 2008. Due to the success of these products a further 2 white units with a higher specification were manufactured and shipped in March 2009.
The specification included a 350Kva generator and UPS system, with a maximum noise level of 75 dB at 1.5m, an internal exhaust system (to allow for easy shipment by sea) along with gravity and motorised Louvre systems. The UPS room included filtration screens and rubber gland plate covers to keep out any wildlife.
The generator sets were supplied by SDMO’s UK Gold Dealer, Ocktcom Limited.
